Doris A. Park, 87, of Sleepy Hollow Rd., East Greenwich, died Saturday at Rhode Island Hospital. She was the wife of the late Robert H. Park.

Born in Wakefield, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Alice (Belknap) Arnold. Mrs. Park served as a 2nd Lieutenant with the US Army Nurse Corp during WW II. She worked for many years at the Navy Exchange in Quonset before retiring. She was a graduate of Pawtucket Memorial School of Nursing. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Kingston, Red Hats, North Kingstown Seniors and enjoyed traveling and water aerobics at the YMCA.

She leaves a daughter, Dorinda Blair; grandchildren, Melissa, Timothy and Malinda Blair; great grandchildren, Peyton, Halayna, Brock and Talon all of Taylor, MI. She was sister of Alice Gardner of South Kingstown, Evelyn Rossner of Charlestown and the late Norman, Herbert, Kenneth, Harold, Irving, Egbert Arnold and Edna Bannister.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in the Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield. Burial with military honors will be in New Fernwood Cemetery, Kingston. Visiting hours Monday 6-8 PM.
