Mrs. Glatice L. Robinson, 76, who has made her home with an aunt, Mrs. Mary (Manie) Stoneburner, Decatur Route 4, for the past 17 years, died at 2:25 p.m. Saturday at the Adams County Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient seven weeks.
She was born in Hampton, MO., April 28, 1894, a daughter of Thompson and Sarah Stinson-Barnett, and was married to Walter Robinson, August 5, 1913. Her husband preceded her in death January 20, 1942.
Mrs. Robinson attended the Monroe United Methodist Church. She lived in Kansas City, KS prior to moving to Decatur.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gerald A. (Dean) Durand of Norfolk, VA; one son, Walter R. Robinson of Merriam, KS; three sisters, Mrs. E.R. (Vern) Kinnard of Marshalltown, IA; Mrs. Beulah Darr of Boxholm, IA; and Mrs. Rex (Vivian) Downs, also of Boxholm; 11 grandchildren. One brother and one sister are deceased.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday at the Zwick Funeral Home, with Rev. Don Wilks officiating. Burial will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery at Kansas City, KS. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Monday until the time of services. Preferred memorials are to the Heart fund.
