Mr. House proudley served his country with the United States Air Force for 25 years and was the recipient of several commendations and awards. Following his military career, he later retired from the Civil Service after 10 years. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Irma House; 2 sisters and 1 brother.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara House; 3 daughters, Chris Vajgrt, Genia Turner and Judy Lowe; 1 son, Chip House; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grand children; 2 sons-in-law, Bobby Lowe and Steve Vajgrt; 1 sister, Margaret McKeand; several extended family members and friends.
His grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimer Association of North Alabama.
