Ruth Mason Palmer died Aug. 13, 2003 at the Heritage Tower Retirement Community in Doylestown, Pa. She was 100. She was a daughter of William and Corabelle Ulmer Mason and a lifelong resident of Stockton. She was a member of the Berean Baptist Church and served as an officer of its Ladies Society. She also was a member and former officer of the Stockton Fire Company's Ladies Auxiliary and a member of the 500 Card Club in Stockton. She was the widow of Eugene J. Palmer with whom she shared 78 years of married life. She is survived by a daughter, Jean Schwartz of Hamilton Township, a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held Saturday at the Garefino Funeral Home in Lambertville. Burial followed in the Sandy Ridge Cemetery.
