Roma Ackley, 35, of Idaho, was fatally injured about 6:30 p. m. Saturday when he and two others were thrown from a truck driven by Mrs. Nina Ackley on Route 124, three miles west of their home. Seriously injured in the accident were Clellie Williams of Latham, and William Ackley, brother of the deceased.
Mr. Ackley was born in Pike Co. Ohio on Aug. 27, 1914, a son of Silas and Cenith Hanshaw Ackley. Surviving in addition to the wife and lather are five brothers, George of Columbus, John of Latham, William of Idaho, Ralph of Cleveland and Ernest Ackley of Isanti, Minn. and two sisters, Mrs. Lola Rock and Mrs. Helen Carl, both of Columbus. A brother, Anthony, and a sister, Mrs. Margaret Miller predeceased him. Service will be conducted from the Morgantown Church of Christ in Christian Union, of which he was a member, at 2 p. m. Thursday. The Rev. Lloyd Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Gardner cemetery by the A. Boyer, Waverly.
