Sgt. Elwin C. Jones was a member of C Company, 192nd Tank Battalion. He fought in the Philippine Islands in the first few months of American involvement in World War II.
Elwin became a Prisoner of War when Bataan was surrendered to the Japanese. He took part in the Bataan Death March and was held as a POW at Camp O'Donnell. He died there of dysentery.
