There was a crowded house at Forest Grove, Sunday night, but in no part of the meeting did they seem so interested as when Rev. J. W. Ennes said to Albert Beeson and Miss Laura Ennes, "Stand on the floor;" and there being no objection given they united for future life. A short ceremony and many congratulations and they were seated. They have many friends here who venture to say that pleasant years lay before them. The only regret is that it leaves L. D. Ennes, father of Mrs. Beeson, alone and he will need a cook.

Laura died shortly after her child was born. The doctor thought she was doing well, but she died suddenly, in the Forest Grove Community at the Thad Ackman place. Statement by Esther Bowers

The death angel visited the home of Albert Beeson and took his wife.
Mrs. Beeson had been real sick for about two weeks, but her friends had thought her improving until about twenty minutes before she died.
She left her husband and two sons, besides a host of relatives and friends. She was the youngest daughter of Dow Ennis. She was a member of the Oak Ridge Methodist Church and will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Goodnight, at the Forest Grove School house after which her body was laid to rest in the Ennis Cemetery beside her four little ones who had preceded her to the great beyond.
Our heart felt sympathy goes out to the bereaved husband and sons.
