Ferne Gatlin Wood, 79, of Williamson Boulevard, a resident for 55 years, died Tuesday at Indigo Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Wood, a homemaker, was born in Green Cove Springs and moved to this area from Palatka. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with family, reading and sewing.
Survivors include a daughter, Hazel Stevens, Orlando; and a grandchild. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, 412 South Palmetto Ave., Daytona Beach 32114. Bellevue-Cedar Hill is in charge.
