Funeral services for Ima Foster, 75, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 23 at the Church of Christ with Norman Easter officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Greer Funeral Home.
She was born June 7, 1908 at Granite, the daughter of Allie Mae and E.C. Foster. She moved to Mangum with her parents in 1917. She and her twin sister, Ura, taught school at Mangum for 45 years.
Miss Foster was a member of the Church of Christ. She was a leader in the Girl Scouts, a member of OEA, NEA, Delta Kappa Gamma, University Women, B and PW. ESA, RTA, AARP, the Sorosis Club and the Cecilian Music Club.
She died Tuesday, March 20 in the Mangum City Hospital.
Miss Foster is survived by one sister, Helen Anderson, Santa Ana Calif.
