She was a lifelong resident of Richland County and was the daughter of Charles Stover and Susan Simon Stover. She was married to Harry B. Gardner who has preceded her in death. Mrs. Gardner was a long time member of the Christian Church.
She leaves a son, Hiram Gardner of Olney; one grandchild; 2 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roy Stover of Anaheim, California.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters: Mrs. Della Reynolds, Mrs. Edith Patterson and Mrs. Mary Boewe; four brothers: Frank, Richard, Albert and Henry Stover.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Memorial Chapel of the Summers-Marshall Funeral Home with Brother F.A. Larkin officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Parkersburg.
