Mr. Aanderud was born June 7, 1974, in Minot, N.D., and moved to Beaverton in 1981. He graduated from Aloha High School and Oregon State University. He moved to Tempe, Ariz., in 1996 and was a supervisor for the Arizona Structural Pest Control Commission.
Survivors include his mother, Jan; father and stepmother, Mike and Lynea; stepbrother, Chris Patterson; and grandmothers, Vivienne Colvin and Edith Aanderud.
