Mrs. Rose P Spurling, 67, died Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Donald Shumer, 1112 Park Street.
A native of Fauquere County, Virginia, Mrs. Spurling attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and taught Sunday School classes for many years.
She is survived by three sons, Leo of Minoa, Jeffrey & Richard Spurling of Syracuse; two daughters, Mrs. Shumer and Mrs. William McClatchie of Phoenix; two sisters, Mrs. Susan Mitchell of Strasburg, VA., and Mrs. Blanche Gordon of Fostoria, Ohio; four brothers, James, Albert and Thomas Henretty of Ohio and Grover H Henretty of Washington; 19 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Services will be at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the Butler Funeral Home, the Rev. Harry Jueckstock officiating. The body will be sent to Strasburg, VA for interment.
