Eliza Leonora "Lila" Lynd Folger was born Feb. 14, 1869 in Covington, KY, the only daughter of Elijah W. and Theresa Gordon Lynd. Her paternal grandparents were Rev. Dr. Samuel W. Lynd and Leonora Maria Staughton Lynd, of Lockport, IL; maternal grandparents were John Gordon and Eliza Dennis Gordon of Indiana.
She married Herbert Warren Folger on July 8, 1896.
Her parents, her brother Elijah Waring Lynd, her daughters Mary and Jeannette Folger predeceased her.
Lila died from complications arising from diabetes at Good Samaritan Hospital.. She is survived by her husband and three daughters: Theresa Gordon Folger (Longnecker) of Dayton, OH; Elizabeth Marie Folger (Gray), and Alberta Gardner Folger (Quinn) of Fort Lewis, WA and three granddaughters..
