Blanche L. Addis, 72, 900 W. Dayton St. died at 10:48 a.m. in Seminary Manor.
She was born the daughter of Earl Leroy and Hulda M. Johnson Aerie.
She married Laverne C. "Bud" Addis on Oct.14,1950, in Altona, Ill. He preceeded her in death on May 3,1993.
Surviving are (4) sons: John (and Maureen) Addis, Edelstein, Dan (and Jeanine) Addis, Tulsa, Okla., Tim (and Susie) Addis, Richardson, Texas, and Ron (and Tamara) Addis, Varisco, Texas., a daughter, Debra J. (and Richard) Fox, Galesburg., a sister, Gladys Keene, Galesburg. she was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
She was a 1947 graduate of Galesburg High School, and Carl Sandburg College in 1981 with her L.P.N. degree.
She was an L.P.N. at Galesburg Cottage Hospital for over 30 yrs before retiring. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church in Galesburg,and was a 65- yr member of the Sincerity Lodge 6.
Funeral was at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel. Burial in East Linwood Cemetery.
