Mary Magdalene Cupp, age 86, of Rockholds, KY, passed away Wednesday December 9, 2015 at Baptist Health Corbin, Corbin, KY. She was born April 8, 1929 in Campbell County, TN, to the late Thomas Benjamin Keeney and the late Matilda Walden Keeney.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Alva A. Cupp, 2 sisters, Martha Wells, and Willa Grace Valez, and 3 step-brothers, George Archer, Monroe Archer, and Jeremiah Lee Archer.
She is survived by 5 daughters, Janice Armstrong (Jack) of Rockholds, KY, Wilma Archer (James) of Bartow, FL, Joyce McCarthy (Michael) of St. Louis, MI, Mary Wright of Rockholds, KY, Sarah Archer (Chuck) of Corbin, KY, 2 sons, Dillard Cupp (Judy) of Rockholds, KY, Archie Cupp, of Rockholds, KY, 23 grandchildren , a host of great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, 2 sisters Anna Mae Arthur of LaFollette, TN, Marie Ruthruff of Lakeland, FL, 1 step sister Nanna Lou Marlow of LaFollette, TN, 1 step brother James Archer of Bartow, FL, special friend Betty Sutton of Williamsburg, KY, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday December 12, 2015 at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerome McCullah, Rev. Dillard Cupp, Rev. Daniel Wright, and Rev. Daniel Cupp officiating. Following the service she will be laid to rest in the Slusher Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6:00PM Friday December 11, 2015 at the Ellison Funeral Home.
