The daughter of Samuel Calvin Wagner & Carrie Belle (Morrow) Wagner, she was born on 11 Sep 1907 in Newport, Perry County, PA & grew up in Harrisburg, PA.
After attending nursing school in New York City she became a nurse in that same city. She met and married Ervin Scott Ross M.D. on 14 Jun 1937 in New York, New York County, NY.
After WW II, she and her husband returned to Cincinnati, OH where he set up a practice downtown. The family lived in the Cincinnati neighborhood of College Hill.
They had two children, Clarke Everett & Bonnie Belle Ross.
