Johnny O[Dell Simmank, age 60 passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011. He was born in austin, Texas on Ausgust 8, 1950. He attended Travis High School and Capitol Trade where he earned his Air Conditioning License in 1972. He married Karen Birdwell on March 13, 1981. the made their home in south Austin. Johnny retied in 2003 from the University of Texas.
Preceeding Johnny in death were his parents, Adolph and Henrietta simmank, son, Johnny, Jr.and sister Mildred Jeanette
Survivors include wife Karen Simmank; son Justin Simmank; daughter, Jennifer Simmank; grandchildren Nevin and Ryan Simmank; brother James(Peanut) Simmank; sister Judy and Husband Rickey Nevels; sister Janice Mitchell; sister Jolyn and husband Mark Jackson; sister Janie Simmank and partner Michelle Heinz and many nieces and nephews.
Johnny was a very generous,caring,loving and friendly man. A wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Visitation and Service was held at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral home Chapel and Interment at Live Oak cemtery in Manchaca, Texas
