Kenny, son of James Houston Cox and Dixie "Cookie" Ray, brother to Jamie, was murdered at the age of four-years-old in the Detroit Beach area. Kenny, along with two playmates were returning home from the nearby playground when a youthful assailant attacked the children. It happened within clear view from the home of his grandparents, his father being first on the scene as Kenny's grandmother had seen Kenny fall to the ground.

Buried near his grandparents Kermit and Fannie Cox and Uncle Charles Cox.

Kenny's brother Jamie would have a son he would name after Kenny.

Kenny's middle name is after his Uncle Charles who passed as a young man. A photo of him can be found in the photos section, along with other family photos.

Many of those who loved Kenny have passed away or live far away. Please stop by this little boy's grave with a flower if you are able. I am his cousin and do not live close. He is never forgotten.
