Edwin G. Phillips, 85, of Roseburg, formerly a longtime resident of Salem, died Friday.
Born in Polk County, he moved to Roseburg two years ago. He was a logger for many years, and worked as a custodian after retirement.
Survivors include his daughter, Betty Wood, Roseburg; and sister, Rita Rowe, Glenwood, Iowa.
The casket will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Barrick mortuary here. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in City View Cemetery. Arrangements are by Chapel of the Firs mortuary, Sutherlin.
