Stone Green Was Born in 1885 At Iconium

Last rites for Stone Harrison Green, who died September 28, were conducted at 2:00 p.m. September 30th at Liberty Baptist Church at lconium by Rev. Wilmer Harper of Osceola. The Church Choir with Miss Jama Reddick as pianist sang "Old Rugged Cross", "Beyond The Sunset", "God Be With You, Till We Meet Again."

Casket bearers were grandsons.

Interment was in the lconium Cemetery.

Stone Harrison Green, son of of Thomas F. and Laura Jane Bowman Green, was born at lconium Mo., May 19, 1885 and died Monday morning September 28 at 4:30 a.m. at Wetzel Hospital Clinton, Mo.

He was married to Inez Gover March 1, 1905 and to union were born five daughters and five sons.

Mrs. Jessie (Neola) Copenhaver, Omaha, Nebraska, Mrs. Person (Selma) Crabtree, Kansas City, Mo., Bryan Green of Omaha, Nebraska, Payton Green of Warsaw, Mo., J. W. Green of

Kansas City, Kansas, Mrs. Elvin (Gladys) Mrs. Kenneth (Virginia) Meadows Clinton, Mo., Mrs. Norman (Elmira) Beeler of Kansas City, Mo., Tom Green, Olatha, Kansas at Edmond peering away at the age of 9 years.

Mr. Green was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church at lconium and he was a great politician.

He moved to Deepwater several years ago.

Left to mourn his passing are his wife of the home the five daughters and four sons before mentioned, one sister, Mrs. Della Copenhaver of Deepwater, Mo. 21 grandchildren and 13 great grand children.
