Jillian was a very creative and unique girl. She was a talented artist, a gifted student, and involved in many extra-curricular actvities. During her high school years and even this past summer, she was passionate about working with young people at Circle Square Ranch in Wolseley, Saskatchewan. She did many things there, but her favorite job was being a camp counselor. She loved to talk to kids about her faith in Christ and see them grow in theirs. She spent the past year as an au pair for a family in Switzerland. She was able to travel to many countries including Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Czech Republic,The Netherlands, and England. Some of that time was spent with her mom going on a Mediterranean Cruise and journeying all over Switzerland. After returning from Europe in the summer, Jill had been living in Torquay, SK with her elder sister. She was involved in her church in Estevan as a youth leader and on the drama team. Jill's exuberance and carefree spirit caused many to jokingly call her the "gypsy" and in some ways she was. We all loved her just the way she was and we will all miss her. The wandering "gypsy" is now in her eternal home safe with her Lord and Saviour Jesus.
Jill leaves to cherish her beautiful memories, her parents, Michael and Tina Ross of Frontier, SK,sister Jessica(Josh) Young of Torquay, SK, twin sister Jenna Ross of Calgary, AB and brother Dustin Ross of Frontier, SK; special niece Kiera, grandmother Barbara Perkins of Halifax, N.S.; uncle and aunt Gordon and Carolyn Paul of Winkler, MB and aunts Francis Desjardins of Ottawa, ON and Cindy Ross of Halifax, N.S.; cousins Nathan and Jayden Paul of Winkler, MB, as well as numerous great uncles and aunts as well as friends all over the world and most of all her beloved dog Skippy.
