Frances Brown married Lucratus Green on Sept. 17, 1859 and had 12 children. Two of the children would die as infants and one would die at age four. The Lanton community would also become known as the Green's Mill community because Lucrates Green and several of his sons would operate the mill in the community in the early 1900s.
