Mrs. Amanda Victoria Burkett, widow of Charles Henry Burkett, died Monday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert Stone, Union Bridge Route 1, with whom she had made her home for the past 12 years. She was a daughter of the late James and Mahalie Metz and was aged 90 years.

Besides Mrs. Stone she is survived by three other children: Robert A. Burkett, Union Bridge Route 1; Charles H. Burkett, Lancaster, S. C.; James P. Burkett, Dundalk; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and one brother, E. P. Metz, Glendale, Calif.

She was a member of the Methodist church at Uniontown. The body is at the funeral home in Taneytown where friends may call from seven until nine o'clock this evening. Funeral services will be held there Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in charge of her pastor, Rev. Malcolm F. Wright. Interment in the Methodist cemetery at Uniontown. C. O. Fuss and Son, funeral directors.
