Services for Lorena S. Culler, 86, Hannibal, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Smith Funeral Chapel The Rev. John Batchelor will officate. Burial will be in Bethel Zion Cemetery at Bethel.
Mrs. Culler died at 6:25 a.m. March 11, 1986 in St. Elizabeth's Hospital.
She was born Oct. 31, 1899, in Shelby County to Fred and Lydia Stauffer Schnaufer.
She was married in 1920 to Herschel Culler in Clarence. He died in 1946.
Survivors include one son, Weldon F. Culler of Peoria Heights, Ill.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Culler and her husband owned and operated the Gomel Corn Candy Shop on South Main Street for many years. She later was employed by the Hannibal Public Schools' cafeterias. She was a member of Park United Methodist Church and the Peter W. Sommer Post No. 814 of the VFW Auxiliary in Peoria. She had resided in Hannibal for more than 45 years after moving here from Shelby County.
Visiation will be 6-8 p.m. today 9Wensday) at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Park United Methodist Church.
