Services for Duncun E. Simmons, 46, of 2218 Ravenwood Ave. who died yesterday in Vanderbilt hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Westmoreland Methodist church. The Rev. Carter Kykins will officiate.
Mr. Simmons a foreman for the Western Electric company, died following hospitalization for a cerebral hemorrhage Sunday.
He was born and educated near Westmoreland and came here recently from Charleston, S.C. to help his firm's expansion program in this area.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Verna Mai Simmons; daughter Cathileen; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evey Simmons of Westmoreland; sisters, Mrs. Harry Armstrong, Gallatin; Miss Gusteen Simmons, Westmoreland; brothers, Chesley Simmons, Indoanapolis; James Simmons, Nashville and Ed Simmons, Westmoreland.
The body is at the home of Mr. Simmon's parents in Westmoreland.
