ACAMPORA, ANNA Anna Acampora, 89, of 315 Eastern St., New Haven, died on February 18, 2011 at Branford Hills Health Care Center. Anna was born on December 28, 1921 to the late Giacchino and Catherine Parlato Acampora.

She worked for both the Gant Shirt Company and the Swartz Shirt Shop as a seamstress for many years.

She was the last of nine children, predeceased by four sisters; Margaret DeCrosta, Mary Camera, Jennie Criscuolo Bimonte and Gloria Bellucci and four brothers; Ralph, Salvatore, Joseph and James Acampora.

She leaves a sister-in-law Mary Acampora of Hamden and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Anna's family would like to extend a special Thank you to all the staff at Branford Hills for their loving care.

Funeral will leave the EAST HAVEN MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 425 Main St., Wednesday morning at 9:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 o'clock in St. Bernadette Church. Burial will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.

Friends may call Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 prior to the mass.
