Ethel Mae (Somers) Rowland was the daughter of William Henry and Mary Ann Elizabeth (Rider) Somers. She was the 2nd wife of Rev. Henry Hosie Rowland. They were married Martinsburg, West Virginia June 26, 1945. He was a minister in the Genesee Conference and North China Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church/The Methodist Church/United Methodist Church.
