At the Life Care Center of Hilton Head. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she worked at a New Jersey war plant in New Jersey, during World War II. She was a lifelong member of the Columbiettes, and a former president of the St. Henry auxiliary and the Neighborhood Association in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John MacDonald, who retired from the New York Police Department. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary, and her parents, Francis & Mary White McBride.
Survivors are children, John MacDonald, Queensbury, NY & Peggy Saul, Bluffton, SC; sister, Grace Seifert, Long Island; 16 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted on Saturday, December 5, 2009.
