LULU BELLE HAINES
---Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Community Presgyterian Church conducted by Rev. Fred L. Hudson for Mrs. Lulu Haines, seventy-one, who died Saturday morning at her home after an illness of one day. Death was due to a heart attack.
---Mrs. Haines was born in La Plata August 8, 1875, a daughter of Nicholas and Jennie Blessing.
---In early life she was married to Frank Haines and they lived at Rising Sun, Indiana. To them were born one son, Attorney Clinton B. Haines of Birmingham, Alabama. Her husband died several years ago.
---Besides the son she is survived by one brother, Bert Blessing of St. Charles, Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Sammie Randall of Macon and Mrs. Lydall Whitmore at home and several nieces and nephews.
---She was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
---Burial was made in the La Plata cemetery.
