Daughter of John William Brewer and Elisa Matilda Persinger Brewer. Charity was their first born. Sister of Harry Russell Brewer, Alberta Brewer Williams, Olive Anne Brewer Harrold, Howard Empson Brewer and Ruth Brewer Gentry. Charity married Everett Graves 02 Oct 1948 in Salem, Indiana.
I met Charity when I started dating my wife Nancy. I was quizzed pretty thoroughly about how I felt about many things. My wife Nancy is the only girl any of Charity's siblings had. I guess I passed the test because Charity told Nancy that I was okay. She passed my test as well and I love her still.
She and Everett didn't have children and that's a shame. She would have been a great Mom. She was funny, intelligent, independent and a joy to be around.
She loved to wear red and have red things around. Her nickname was Red although she did not have red hair.
Everett passed away 02 Jun 1967 and Charity was well taken care of the rest of her life.
She was loved by all that knew her and she is remembered well and with love.
We love you Aunt Charity.
