Born Dec. 5, 1960, in Cleveland County, she was the daughter of Charles and Carolyn Spikes. Catrina was preceded in death by her twin sisters, Charline and Charlotte and her grandparents, John Nelson Moss and Lallage Moss.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Oates Sr. of the home; two sons, Larry (Melissa) Oates Jr. of Newton, Carlos Oates of Camp Carroll-Korea; two daughters, Candis and Sharonda Oates of the home; two brothers Charles Spikes Jr. of Shelby, and Chavis Spikes, of Kingstown; three brothers-in-law, Sherwood (Romaine) Oates, the late David Oates and Dale Oates; two grandchildren, Makayla and Justyn; a special friend, Bartina Kelty; a goddaughter Ashanti; several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation: The family will receive friends 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Philadelphia United Methodist Church
