FRANK B HUM--91: died early today [6-1] at home in Sharpsville after an extended illness. Born 16 Oct 1898 in New Hamburg, he was a son of Frank & Elizabeth Reichard Hum. Before retiring in 1965 from Valley Mould & Iron Corp-Hubbard, Mr. Hum had been an electrician for 49yrs. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church-Sharpsville & Independent Order of Odd Fellows-Sharpsvl Lodge-739.
Surviving are his wife, formerly Hazel Sherbondy, whom he married on 24 May 1934; 2 children: Hazel Louann (sp-David) Hill-Jamestown; Frank David-Maysville area of W.SalemTwp; a bro: Raymond Hum-Sharon; 5 grandchildren & a gr-grandchild. He was preceeded in death by 2 sisters: Mayme Russell & Dorothy Holland. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church-Sharpsvl or American Cancer Society-Sharon.
Funeral & committal service will be Monday morning in Donaldson Mohoney Funeral Home-Sharpsville; with Rev. Robert Hibshman-Pastor of First Presbyterian Church-Sharpsvl officiating. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park-Hermitage.
