Lottie was born on January 5, 1855. She was married to William H. Lewis. At the time of her death, she lived in lower Manhattan, New York City and worked as a dress maker. She claimed to be married to railroad contractor Daniel Callahan although they were probably close friends. While in New York, Daniel stopped by her place to visit. During the night of December 6, 1890,Lottie died unexpectedly of a seisure. Daniel was so distraught because of the sudden lost of his loved one that he had difficultly explaining her death to authorities. Lottie was buried in Union West End Cemetery in Allentown PA
