AUTO SMASHUP KILLS C-CITIAN

COLORADO CITY (RNS) ~~ Acie Boyd Jennings, 36, of Colorado City, was killed early Saturday morning when his automobile overturned three miles north of Christoval. He was an employe of the Farmer's Gin at Colorado City.

Mr. Jennings was born in Mitchell County and had lived here all his life. He was a veteran of World War II, and was married to the former Jimmie Lee Johnson.

Funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the Kiker and Son Chapel here with the Rev. Weldon Rives, pastor of the St. Luke Methodist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. Lynnwood Harrison of Goree. Burial will be in Colorado City Cemetery.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. M. D. Jennings of Colorado City; his wife; a son, A. B. and a daughter, Jody; three brothers, Virgil of Big Spring, J. T. of Colorado City and Otis of Chinle, Arizona; and two sisters, Mrs. Lena Jobe of Claunch, New Mexico, and Mrs. Elsie Inez Perry of Colorado City.
