Loving mother of Yvonne Darlene "Eve" (Ralph "Skip") Watt, Denise Danielle Wendt and the late Michelle Diane Wendt; devoted grandmother of Donna (Brian) Loynachan and Denise (Dr. David) Hughes; great-grandmother of Jenna and Joshua Loynachan and Elizabeth and Madeline Hughes; dear sister of Ruth (the late Clayton) Reid, Edward (the late Barbara), Georgia (the late David) Kesler, Rosalie (the late Harold) Myrtle and the late Helen (the late Ernest) Hill, Esther (the late Wallace) Hogle, James (the late Lorraine) and Lola Aspelin; fond aunt of many; former wife of the late Louis Earl Wendt.
Mrs. Wendt retired after 20 years as Secretary for Buildings and Grounds at Concordia University in River Forest.
Visitation Tuesday, 9:45 a.m. until time of service 10:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 607 W. Harvard (at East Ave.), Oak Park, IL 60304. Interment Mount Vernon Memorial Estates, Lemont, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ Lutheran Church are appreciated. Funeral info: Dreschler, Brown & Williams Funeral Home.
