Survivors are his wife, Rosmarie West of Munich, Germany; daughters, Eugenia Lahner and Ellen West, both of Munich, Germany; brother, Lenox West of Oakdale; sister, Lonia Fontenot of Ville Platte; 2 grandchildren.
