John and Edna had 2 children: Margaret Edna Thomas (married Richard Wynn) and John Streeper Thomas (married Elizabeth Fay). After Edna died in 1920, John married Esther Helene MacDowell. John and Helene had 2 children: William and Mary Helene Thomas. John was treasurer of Philadelphia Storage Battery Co, which later became Philco.
