Eugene A. Albert, 93, of 513 E. Wall St., Morrison, died Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011, at Morrison Community Hospital.
Mr. Albert was born Dec. 1, 1917, in Boston, Mo., the son of Charles Carl and Florence Elizabeth (Moore) Albert.
He married Elvira Victoria Eickhoff on June 13, 1942, in Owatonna, Minn. She preceded him in death on May 4, 1991.
He farmed from 1942 to 1999 in Port Byron. He also worked at the Annawan Sale Barn, signing in cattle at auctions, retiring in 1999.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyllis Dornon of Morrison; and one sister, Virginia Krajnovich, and one brother, Donald Albert, both of Port Byron.
He also was preceded in death by one daughter, Nancy Albert; one sister, Helen Korb; and six brothers, Bernard, Marvin, Russell, Chester, Glen, and Junior Albert.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Pleasant Point Cemetery, Port Byron, with the Rev. Dan Schenck, pastor of Morrison United Methodist Church, officiating. Arrangements were completed by Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, Morrison.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
