Mrs. Jeannette Mae Olguin, 63, of Manzanola died on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011 suddenly at Arkansas Valley Regional Medical Center, La Junta, CO.

Jeannette was born in Rocky Ford, CO on June 15, 1947, the daughter of the late Edward Isaac and Isabel (Romero) Garcia.

She graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1965. She also graduated from the cosmetology school in Pueblo and obtained her CNA degree.

She was the wife of Manuel Olguin. They were married on Dec. 17, 1966 in Rocky Ford, CO. He survives.

She worked as a CNA at Ark Valley Regional Medical Center in La Junta, CO.

She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Rocky Ford, CO.

She is survived by her husband; Manuel of the home; Daughter Stephanie Lopez of Manzanola, CO; Son Jonah husband of Johanna Olguin of Aurora, CO; Son Thaddeus Olguin of Aurora, CO; Sister Stella Martin of La Junta, CO; Grandson Anthony Lopez of Pueblo, CO; Grandson Joshua Lopez of Pueblo, CO; Granddaughter Jaylene Lopez of Fowler, CO; Granddaughter Alicia Olguin of Manzanola, CO; Granddaughter Hailey Olguin of Aurora, CO; Grandson Nicholas Olguin of Aurora, CO; Grandson Noah Olguin of Aurora, CO; Granddaughter Isabella Olguin of Aurora, CO; Grandson Deavontee Venegas of Aurora, CO; Granddaughter Breiana Olguin of Aurora, CO. She is also survived by numerous Aunts, Nieces and Nephews, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Freddie Garcia
A Rosary Service will be recited at 9:00 AM Wednesday at St. Peters Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the St. Peters Catholic Church, Rocky Ford, CO, at 9:30 AM on Wednesday, March 2nd, with Fr. Don Malin officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 9-5 PM at Ford-Ustick Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery Rocky Ford, CO.
