Cecile Lucille Tafoya Gallentine, 72, our precious and devoted mother, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, slipped away from her devoted family and friends at her home on Wednesday, February 23, 2011, after fighting a courageous and inspiring battle with ovarian cancer. She was surrounded by her loved ones throughout her struggle and final moments.

Cecile was born December 1, 1938 to Bernabe Tafoya and Hilaria Lucero in Denver, Colorado. She lived there until the age of sixteen, when her family relocated to Avondale, Arizona. She graduated from West High School in 1957 and married Alfred Estrada in December of that year.

A caring and dedicated mother, she raised her two children with infinite love and abundant joy. In 1972, she married Dale Bryce Gallentine, and a few years later they moved to Utah, where they were sealed in the Provo LDS Temple.

Cecile soon discovered her passion, becoming a highly successful real estate agent, broker, business owner, and real estate investor. She consistently achieved Agent of the Year and Top Producer awards, and was a long-standing member of the Million Dollar Club.

Cecile's heart was devoted to her Heavenly Father and everyone who knew her was impressed with her and her incredible strength, beauty and grace. She will be profoundly missed, but her goodness, integrity, generosity, and love will always be remembered.

Cecile is survived by her husband Dale Bryce Gallentine, son Rick Estrada (Yvonne Tran), daughter Darlene Estrada (Wynona Foster), five stepchildren, siblings Angelina, Ellen, James, Joy, Linda, Terry, and Tommy, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in the Saratoga Springs Fourth Ward Chapel, 49 East Centennial Boulevard, Saratoga Springs, Utah. Family and friends may visit on Monday, February 28, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wing Mortuary, 118 East Main Street, Lehi, Utah, and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday morning at the Church.
Interment will follow in the Orem City Cemetery.
