Ella D. Powell, 83, of Springfield, died Feb. 24, 2011 at Sunrise Manor of Virden.
She was born Aug. 28, 1967 the daughter of Marshall and Ollie Abbott. She married Ellsworth Lee Powell, he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Powell was a nurse at the Kings Daughters Home for many years. She enjoyed going to church and fishing.
She is survived by three brothers, one sister, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 11 AM Monday, Feb. 28th at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel with visitation half hour prior to service.
