Sarah Campbell died in a skiing accident caused by an avalanche in the Tenton Range. She graduated from Lincoln East High School in 1992. She Attended Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She graduated with a bachlors degree. She also graduated from National Outdoor Leadership School program in Lander, Wyoming, and was employed by the U.S. Forest Service in Wyoming and Idaho. From 1998-2000, Sarah was the operations manager of Yostmark Mountain Equipment in Drigs, Idaho. Services were held at First Plymouth Congregational Church in Lincoln, Nebraska on January 4, 2001.
