Al was a former warehouse manager for Curtis Burns in Leicester, NY died at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He lived on main St. in York, and had been self employed, operating a lawn service. Survived by his wife Anita; Children, Roger, Athens, GA., Nita Rae (William) Hawkins, Piffard, NY., Deborah Kae (Charles) Krueger, Conesus, NY., Rebecca (Timothy) Minnich, York, NY., Cathy (Dean) Olsowsky., Leicester, NY., 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, brothers, Kenneth (Virginia) Bowersox, California, Jack (Jean) Bowersox, Virginia, sister, Barbara (Oscar) Burlingame, Oregon, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Howard G. Bowersox in 1975. Al served in the U.S.Army during WW2. He was a member of the Geneseo Masonic Lodge #214 and the Order of the Eastern Star, Geneseo Chapter, as well as the Mt. Morris, NY., Rotary Club. Funeral was held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home in Geneseo on Oct. 15, 2001.
