Emil Freudenthal Sr, 88, passed away 22 February 2011 in Tacoma. He is interred at Tahoma National Cemetery at gravesite 9D831 beside his spouse of 63 years, Mary.
He was born 3 June 1922 in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin to Emil and Hilde (Dames) Freudenthal. He married Mary Morrison on his birthday in 1944. He served in the US Navy in WWII and was honorably discharged as a third class Aviation Machinist Mate on 1 December 1945. He finished his career as an Idaho Employment Security agent. He was selected the No. 1 agent in Idaho after only 2 years of employment.
He and Mary are survived by all 9 of their children. They had 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Emil is survived by his brother and a 2nd cousin.
He loved family gatherings and ran his own affairs until he passed. He was a truly fine husband and Father.
