Lila Mae Lambert, wife of Rev. R.J. Lambert, died Monday, April 1, 2008.

Funeral services were conducted April 3,2008 at Palmetto Street Church of God, Florence, SC. Internment followed in Florence Memory Garden Mausoleum.

She was the daughter of the late Robert Murphy and Lottie Belle Newton Flowers of Andrews, SC.

In addition to her husband, survivors include three daughters, Carolyn (Dwight) Williamson, Judith Lambert, Pat (Larry) Barnhill, all of Darlington; two sons, Rev. Randy (Ven) Lambert of Darlington and Perry Lambert of Greensboro, NC; one brother, Murphy (Nell) Flowers of Andrews; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mom was a devoted wife and mother and served alongside her husband in pastoral ministry for 36 years. She committed her life to Christ shortly after being married. From that union, God began a new thing that we believe will never end.

Today, if she could audibly speak to us she would say, "Continue to believe and live. Live out the life you have been given in Christ. Enjoy the journey. Believe, live, love, and laugh."

Bio by Pat Barnhill, Daughter of Lila Lambert and inserts of message to family by daughter Judy Lambert.

**She will always be our Sunshine in the morning as noted in the song "YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE"
