FULL NAME: ANNA ELIZABETH UPHAM TIEGS ROBINSON HUNT

Anna Elizabeth was born 7 Apr 1884 in Pelican Rapids, Otter Tail Co, Minnesota to Payson Ephram Upham and Mary Jane (Chadbourne) Upham.

On 26 June, 1904 she married Albert A. Tiegs of Lyonsdale at Neosho Rapids, Kansas. Their first child, Herbert, was born at Junction City, Ks. They then moved to High River, Alberta, Canada, where Edwin was born in 1907, Elmer in 1909, Ralph in 1911. Another move to Millview, Florida and Leonard was born there in 1912 and Mervin in 1914. In 1918, Anna's brother, Darius, lost his wife following the birth of their third daughter. Anna and Albert adopted Frances June and raised her with their own children. In the meantime the Tiegs family had moved to Idaho. Albert died at Boise in 1927. The Tiegs brothers became extensive potato and onion farmers at Nampa, Idaho.

Anna married Eli Robinson in 1931. He died in 1940 in Nampa. She then married her cousin, Clarence Hunt in 1942. They had to cross the state line into Utah(?) to marry legally because of the close blood relationship. She was 58, and he was 71. Clarence, her third husband, died in 1952. Anna continued to live in Nampa until her death in 1968.

Information from Alta McCluskey who probably learned it from Ralph Upham.
