Formerly of Kaukauna, age 82, passed away at 3:45 p.m. Thursday afternoon. He was born August 22, 1888 in the Town of Holland and had been a life resident of the area and was employed at Thilmany Pulp and Paper until his retirement in 1956. He was a 50 year member of the Catholic Order of Foresters, the Holy Name Society of Holy Cross Catholic Church. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Rosann) Appleton, Kaukauna, Miss Janet Vandehey, West De Pere; three sons, Milton, Sun Prairie, Glen L., Kimberly, Eugene A., Kaukauna; one sister, Mrs. Emma Herbert, Racine; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday morning at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Kaukauna, Rev. Roy Crain officiating. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call at the Fargo Funeral Home after 3 p.m. Friday and the rosary will be prayed at 8 p.m. Friday evening.
