Lee was a member of the First Christian Church in Berryville and a member of the D.A.R. (Daughters of the American Revolution). She worked in manufacturing and owned her own business.
She is survived by three sons, Ken Hale and wife Barbara Louise of Berryville, AR, Darrell Hale and wife Marie Theresa of Plano, TX and Gordon Hale and wife Patty Ann of Berryville, AR; one sister, Bonnie Pickard of Indianapolis, IN; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and loved ones.
On August 25, 1956 Lee was united in marriage with Ken Hale, Sr. who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her parents, Herman and Zona Rosebrock and two sisters, Judy Stephens and Betty Mark.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. An informal memorial service will be 7 p.m. Sunday, February 27th at First Christian Church in Berryville. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Eureka Springs Cemetery with Reverend Judy Turner and Reverend John Turner officiating. Interment will follow in the Eureka Springs Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
