Ray retired from the Maine Department of Transportation in 1983.
He is survived by his wife, Lillian (Gustin) Adair, of Plymouth; one child, daughter Constance, and her husband, Andrew Sanborn, of Plymouth; one brother, Paul Adair, of Fredericton, N.B.; one sister, Pearl McQuairrie, of Hartland, N.B.; three grandchildren, Rob Sanborn, Corey Sanborn, and Bethany Sanborn Thrift; four great-grandchildren, as well as several nephews, and nieces.
Rev. Ginger Walker officiated.
Interment at Sawyer Cemetery, family lot, Plymouth.
