FRIONA - Homer Oscar Lindeman, 80, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2011, in Friona.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Friona United Methodist Church with Pastor Steve Friskup, of the Cowboy Church in Muleshoe, and Jeff Proctor, minister of Sixth Street Church of Christ in Friona, officiating. Arrangements by Blackwell Funeral Home of Friona.

Mr. Lindeman was born May 17, 1930, in Kress to Henry Otto and Lilly Mae Jewell Hammons Lindeman. He married Frankie Wilcox in Hereford on Dec. 23, 1990. He was a member of Friona Masonic Lodge, Boy Scouts of America, the American Heart Association, American Quarter Horse Association, Friona United Methodist Church, Sixth Street Church of Christ and the Cowboy Church Of Muleshoe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Rhoda Lindeman; a brother, Fred Lindeman; and a grandson, Bev Russell Lindeman.

Survivors include his wife of Friona; three son, Russell Lee Lindeman and wife Lea and Ted Kirk Lindeman and wife Joan, all of of D'Hanis and Terry Royce Wilcox and wife Varla of Friona; three daughters, Connie Sue King of Clovis, N.M., Pamela Jan Campbell and husband Mark of Gunnison, Colo., and Kimberly Ann Glorioso of Trinidad, Colo.; two sisters, Sally Van Gilder and husband Bill of Lubbock and Alvena Spain of Ocean Springs, Miss.; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to The American Heart Association, 2514 82nd St., Suite B, Lubbock, TX 79423; or Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1890, Amarillo, TX, 79174-0001.
